My third day of work was a lot better than my first or second. It's turning out pretty nicely actually. Still kinda boring and today (and yesterday) I've had a whopper of a headache. A great remedy for a pesky headache is to relax outside on a nice day! I feel MUCHO BIEN! So far the best thing about my new job is the music! It's not like radio or anything but today they played Incubus, The Moody Blues, Coldplay, and the Red Hot Chili Pepers!!! Other than that there's nothing new. I'm going to try to get a photo gallary up on my webpage and get my web design project (an Ode to Ramen Noodles) done sometime tonight.
1. Who is your favorite singer/musician? Why? Brandon Boyd of Incubus or Hikaru Utada. Because they can both sing and their music moves me.
2. What one singer/musician can you not stand? Why? Mariah Carey her personality annoys me and she is a note hog.
3. If your favorite singer wasn't in the music business, do you think you would still like him/her as a person? Absolutely on both counts.
4. Have you been to any concerts? If yes, who put on the best show? I've been to a few like Three doors down, The Newsboys, Lifehouse, Jars of Clay, a few others I can't remember (remember, I live in a desolate part of Montana and very few concerts are held nearby). Incubus was definitely the best.
5. What are your thoughts on downloading free music online vs. purchasing albums? Do you feel the RIAA is right in its pursuit to stop people from downloading free music? I can only base my opinion on personal experiences and in my experiences I've bought more cd's after downloading songs from the artists than I ever would've if I hadn't heard the songs first. There's just something about opening a cd for the first time and listening to it in a car. I think the RIAA is way off base. I might rant about that on my rants page sometime.

Whoo hoo! Long time no blog! A lot has been happening lately. My emotions have been on a rollercoaster ride recently and I haven't been motivated to write. But man is there a lot to talk about!
Well, first off, on March 26 my family recieved horrible news. My cousin Chris commited suicide. :_:~ His was the first death in my family that I was seriously affected by. My grandmother on my father's side passed away in '98 I think but for some strange reason (possibly youth), it didn't affect me as much as Chris' passing did. There are other factors that made is death more tragic. He was young, has a 3 and a half year old daughter, and had a great happy-go-lucky personality.
During this experience I learned a lot about my family and that funerals aren't unbearably sad (although I was VERY emotional most of the time) but rather they are a time to reunite with family and an opportunity to support and reenforce eachother. The funeral was on monday but during the weekend there was an amazing gathering of family at my aunt and uncle's house. I saw my cousin Susie for the first time in many years. I had a blast the whole weekend. I love just sitting around with my family. The funeral was a little hard but I managed to keep my emotions in check.
One positive outcome of Chris's death was that his dog D.O.G. needed a home. We had met D.O.G. once before, about three weeks before Chris's death, this was also the last time we saw Chris. We instantly fell in love with her and when my mom heard that she needed a home she said we would take her. Everything worked out and so we have a new dog in the family. She fits right in and I'm totally in love with her! She is a mix of some sort, possibly part blue heeler, terrier, or maybe border collie. Something like that. Anyway, I'm going to post some pic's of her on my website so go fetch 'em! DOG is very smart and is already learning tricks very quickly. Right now she KNOWS sit, jump, and come, and she is rapidly progressing in laydown, gopher (sit pretty), and drop(let go of the ball stupid!). She is getting along pretty good with our other dog (the cutest pug in the world Kachina!) Kachina has gotten a little jealous a couple times but nothing major. Now they are even starting to play tug-of-war together! I've also been walking them both every day at least once and we've already had many adventures (one involving a lot of mud and another involving scary poodles).
That's about it for home life~ except that we FINALLY got a suburban. It's pretty tricky fitting five people, a fat dog, and tons of luggage into a buick park avanue ^_^'.
Now for JOB news. I finally got one! I'm now an OFFICIAL employee of Thrifty White Drug! Whoo hoo! I'm not really that excited. So far I've worked one day. It was very...boring! That's the downside, the upside is that I like the people I work with and I will GET PAID! MONEY! I've missed you so!! I have been an UNOFFICIAL employee of my Uncle's restaurant for a few years now but that four hour commute was quite a hassle. Now my commute is about five minutes! (Another plus side!)
And finally, my scholastic news. HECTIC HECTIC HECTIC! I think the teachers like to torture the students by making all the projects and assignments due during the most beautiful time of the year! I have three HUGE assignments due between April 18 and 25. Not to mention a speech or two and then it's FINALS! ~_~' I also have to register and figure out what I'm doing next year. (yes...I am the QUEEN of procrastination!)
~Well I guess that's about it! (probably not) I commend you if you've read all of that crap! (or maybe I feel a little sorry for you ^_^)
